Pag is conquered, Detono Zagreb is the Croatian Champion

The last in a series of tournaments in beach handball in Croatia was played last weekend. All our teams achieved an extraordinary success in this tournament, so we can say that this is so far the most successful tournament in the history of the club.

Academic Beach Handball Club Detono Zagreb wes represented in Pag Open 2008 with for four teams (two in both categories) and are all off them achieved an exceptional result. In the women’s category for the first time club finals was played, while in the men’s category the first team managed to win the tournament, while the other team (Time out) managed to be fifth.

For Detono Zagreb PMF in this season the following players made appereance: Jelić, Totić, Glavočić, Madjerčić, Jurić, Malbašić, Sošić, Mirazović, Copot and Paradžik with the leadership of coach Požeg and Knežević.

Also worth mentioning is that the players from the three best teams this year fully deserved elected in the best four tournaments. These are Malbašić, Copot (Detono Zagreb PMF), Đerek (Let cepelin) and Galiot (KRP Dugi Rat). Congratulations to all.

Time out team made: Čiča, Požeg, Vutmej, Jelic, Hranilović, Madjerčić, Samardžija, Maras under the leadership of Paradžik.

For a team Rezerve appereance made Babun, Šarić, Leljak N., Dragutin, Krajcar, Radić, Kelava and Novački, while the team was led by Matej Sošić.

Team Detono Zagreb PMF consists of: Vranešić, Milic, Krivo, Domjančić, Jeletić, Tomasic, Leljak J., Žgela with coach Copot and Paradžik.

At the end, we must also mention girls who are selected in the best four of tournament – they are Grebenar (Kontesa Nera), Bukovina (Trešnja klub), Milić, Krivo (Detono Zagreb PMF). Congratulations to all the girls.
