First round of Asian beach games
First beach handball games were played on the beginning of Asian beach games. In the group A Qatar beat Japan with 2:0 score. Women games finished after shoot out.Selections of Thailand and Jordan had more knowledge and a bit of luck and they won against Japan and Hong Kong.
In group A, selection of Thailand recorded the first victory against selection of Oman with 2:0.
Group B:First favorite of men competition, selection of Pakistan, opened games with convincing victory against Jordan, while Kuwait beat host selection with identical score like game before.
WOMEN- Selection of Peoples republic of China achieved the first victory against Hong Kong (2:0), while in the second game Chinese Taipei beat Indonesia (2:0). Selection of India started very well on ABG-they acchieved victory against Vietnam (2:0).
